I am passionate about data visualization, both as a means of communication and analysis. I pursue this passion in my hobbies, such as 3D printing topography, and in my career in the field of GIS. I truly think that a well made map can tell a story that words alone cannot.

I went to Brigham Young University - Idaho for a BA in Political Science with a career focus in GIS. I then got a MA in Political Science and a MS in Geographic Information Science from Idaho State University. I am currently a GIS Technician for the City of Newport Oregon. I strive to make a difference in my community, which is why am deeply passionate about my career as a public servant.
